Polish Medical Bibliography – PMB - (Polska Bibliografia Lekarska GBL) is one of the largest disciplinary bibliographies in Poland. It covers Polish scientific, clinical and professional literature in medicine and related sciences, management of health care protection as well as popular science in health education. Records are dated from over 1,900 titles of Polish and foreign journals. PMB is created in the Department of Medical Bibliographies of the Main Medical Library in Warsaw. Since 1979, it is carried out automatically and updated every quarter. Since 1991, there have been summaries of documents introduced, both in Polish and English.
Searching the database is available by different ways: a medical descriptor phrase, words either from a title or an abstract, by a title of a journal as well as a year of publishing or an author.
