doc@med - medical documents electronic delivery system



System doc@med is a Polish system for electronic delivery of medical documents in copy form of articles from Polish and foreign journals situated in collections of Polish libraries in print version. System is supervised by the Main Library of Poznan University of Medical Sciences and situated on its server.

System arised in Poznań on basis of computed tools created by PK.com Piotr Krzyżaniak firm. They enable to record orders, to check of catalog data, to refer orders to adequate libraries and to keep statistics of services. System works without necessity of using client programs by users.

System bases on journal collections of following libraries:
  • Main Library of Medical University in Białystok
  • Main Library of Medical University in Gdańsk
  • Main Library of Medical University in Lublin
  • Main Library of Medical University in Łódź
  • Main Library of Medical University in Wrocław
  • Main Library of Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin
  • Main Library of Poznan University of Medical Sciences
and currently includes 4032 titles of biomedical journals (3193 foreign and 839 Polish).

Copies of ordered documents are sent on e-mail accounts during 48 hours (excluding days off) in PDF.

System is designed for Polish libraries and scientific institutions
